Decaf coffee; for those wanting the delicious innate flavour of coffee just without the caffeine. We’ve always had deep respect for our decaf coffee drinkers. Over the years we have sourced decaf coffee from all over the world, and then sent it to our partners in Germany to decaffeinate it for us. We’ve now found a solution to cut down on airmiles, bringing you a more sustainable yet equally tasty decaf coffee, across both our decaf coffee and decaf pods products.


Our decaf coffee is now sourced directly from Colombia and decaffeinated at source, using an all-natural sugarcane approach. The beauty of the sugarcane process is that it helps preserve most of the original flavours of the coffee, while adding fruity notes and further complexity to the cup. Therefore, the carbon footprint of Atlas is significantly lower than previous decaffeinated coffees we’ve featured, due to the entire process taking place in Colombia. As an omni-roaster, you can enjoy a balanced brew as a filter or decaf espresso coffee, no matter what brewing equipment you have at home. We also have ground decaf and whole bean options available.

Does decaf coffee taste different?

Decaf coffee should not taste too different from caffeinated coffee. The exact taste of your decaf coffee will depend on several variables, such as the terroir, processing method and age of the decaf coffee used.

 How much caffeine is there in decaf coffee?

On average, you can find between 2- 15mg of caffeine in one cup. A typical cup of decaf coffee is not completely clear of all caffeine.

 How are decaf coffee beans made?

 Can you get decaf espresso coffee beans?

Our decaf coffee is omni-roasted which means it can be enjoyed both as espresso and filter brew methods.

 Can you buy ground decaf coffee?

Yes, you can purchase ground decaf coffee. Be sure to select the right grind size for your decaf coffee, as this will depend on the brewing method you prefer. Origin decaf coffee is available to buy in three grind sizes, suitable for espresso (fine grind size), filter (coarse grind size) or Aeropress (medium grind size).
